Is it possible to use a microwave oven if the temperature and time of the dry heat method and without an oven/oven?

The recommended dry heat method is to use an oven at 70 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. The report did not mention the use of dry heat to sterilize N95 masks, which would affect the toughness of metal strips.

Therefore, the dry heat method can use the 56°C, 30-minute solution instead of the 70°C, 30-minute sterilization method found in the research to avoid excessive temperature, which may affect the life of metal strips, rubber strips, and fibers.

For N95 masks with breathing valve, because the breathing valve is made of plastic, the breathing valve will be deformed at 56°C. Therefore, the dry heat method is not recommended, and the ultraviolet method is recommended.

The test report uses an oven. Someone asked if a microwave or oven can be used? Personally, if you can set the stability and time, the oven/microwave oven can also be used. Ovens can generally set the temperature, but most microwave ovens cannot accurately set the temperature. For details, please refer to the instructions for use.
